Jai Hind.......Again!!

There it goes.....
Another Happy Independence day.
Ofcourse, when u get a day off at the office, its worth to be called, a Happy day.
Now, as a proud happy Indian, what did I do today to make my country proud??
I stayed at home!!!!

Y do we celebrate these days???

In TV and on streets, I saw great personalities(i dont know who they are or wht they do) singing the National Anthem and saying very inspiring emotional words abt motherland and how we gained independence. I saw pain and struggle on their faces as if they just came out of the freedom struggle. But were wer these pple hiding for the rest of the 364 days??? Y pple become so emotional abt their motherland "only" on this one day????
I think by celebrating the day as our Independence day, v r limiting our responsibility.
To be frank, I, an average citizen celebrated his Independence day by sleeping and enjoying the holiday at home with family. Ofcourse its good, but is it really contributing anything to that bigger cause? I guess not!

Jan 1st------------April 1st--------April15th---------December 25th---------December31st.
These remaind me of the passing time only.
Ok, No offense meant.Me too love my country!!!!!

Re-entry

I was not feeling like writing anything for some months. But this person threatened me that they will take down my blog which i was not prepared to handle. The lion in me woke up, drank some coffee and and..... wat to write???? :-O
Once again He helped me. Another tag!!Though i was thankful at first, it soon turned out to be a curse. Gosh! How many things pple demand!!!!!
ThankYou man.You will be punished for this, later ;)
Ollrite, the point is ,I am back in action. Sorry! :)
The idea behind this tag was to travel backwards in time by 10 yrs,to the present, and then 5 yrs into the future, recollecting some old memories, current ambitions and other interests, everything in list of 5s.

Ok.Here it goes.

Ten Years Ago

26-10=16. Where were I?
  1. PreDegree 1st year, at CMS college, Kottayam. Haaaaa ;)
  2. Karnatic vocal classes, concerts, Cricket practice sessions, tournaments …..Almost wondering now, how I used to do all these at that time??!
  3. Wanted to be an austronaut or a NASA scientist. Space meant a lot to me at that time. Now also, but of a different kind ;)
  4. I had contacts with my school friends and teachers.
  5. I was "more" innocent ;)

Five Years Ago

26-5=21.
  1. Pre final year at Rajiv Gandhi Institute Of Technology, Kottayam.Learnt the arts of.... well, absolutley nothing.Kept wondering what next..?!
  2. Got my pc and I dived straight into the world of gamers. Had to quit very soon as I felt that my pc is no longer able to handle those NeXGen games. 'Am still out of touch with them. But, as usual, "I will be back" ;)
  3. Learnt friendships aren't everything.
  4. Found a new interest, chatting!!
  5. My sister was with me. We were a family of 4.

Last One Year

25. No need to calculate ;)
  1. Was wandering through the streets of Trivandrum.
  2. We became a family of 5.My sister got married and went to Secunderabad.
  3. More deadlines, more eye strain, 828 sleeping habit, pot belly, The (My own) 'art of living',kalaripayattu, gym, flute lessons... ;)
  4. More idleness in the form of blogging, orkuting etc.
  5. I still had the ability to smile at strangers, and enough time with me to wonder abt that girl's long hair ;)

Yesterday

  1. From day start to finish, I was wondering how and when I was pick pocketed??!! That was a shock.
  2. Usual office jobs.-Some foolish jokes, some foolish laughs,some foolish talks,some foolish acts,some foolish…, Ok, that’s it.
  3. Played futball at a nearby stadium. My performance was really pathetic.I wish,if I cud play like I used to, during my school days.Somebody told me that I was “Out of form”. Out of form?? Ok, I got it. Thanx :-/
  4. A failed attempt to record my song with karoake.
  5. Had a gr8 sleep. I have this gr8 gift, that whenever I am troubled with something or someone, I sleep well.
(Though i am posting this on monday, this portion of the post was written on last thursday. So I am talking abt wednesday here, sorry i am such a "lazy freak" ;) )

Five Things Planned for next 5 Years

I don’t plan that long. But if u ask me seriously then lets say,

  3. Combination of Curd rice, Kappa puzhukku, pappadam, mango pickle.
  4. Payasam.
  5. Milk shakes.

Or may be at that time, I would be longing to lead the life of a common man, which is I am now!Who knows....!!

Other than these, I would

  1. Spend spend spend the money, until every single penny is over and I am forced to work hard again.
  2. Like to do something for music.Set up a Recording studio where anyone with good taste in music can try their voice, songs and luck.
  3. Travel round the globe like a tramp, who is worried abt absolutely nothing , happy to die wherever or watever he is.Wow, that must be something gr8.Now I know y God has decided against my wish.
  4. No idea!
  5. No idea!

To be frank, I don’t know what I’d do.Ofcourse I would spend them like crazy, purchasing everything I like.
